Sorry for the hiatus from posting; I'm not sure if it will get better but keep checking us maybe we'll write more. I finished The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy. I told Andrew it was one of the most interesting stories I've ever read. It was multifaceted and had some of the most shocking surprises. I can't say that I couldn't put it down, but I definitely wanted to know how it ended. The negative side is that Stieg Larson writes very explicitly about some of the violent crimes that are committed in the book. If you aren't as sensitive as me then I would recommend this trilogy. If you are like me then I'm on the fence, because it took me a while to get over some of the violence I read.
So now I'm reading another financial book. I'm reading Financial Peace Revisited by Dave Ramsey. Andrew and I aren't in financial trouble. I'm just not of the mindset that if "it ain't broke, don't fix it." I think if I don't continue to learn then I tend to start to forget. I also decided to read this because I've read a lot of fiction and just wanted to switch it up a little.
A new decision: I've decided I'm going to try and use the public library. It's there, it's free, I'm not sure why I've been buy books. Now books that you would like to refer to again or know you'll read over and over then that makes sense. Up next in the book cue: Three Cups of Tea, Hard Time by Charles Dickens, Searching for God knows What by Donald Miller, and about 20 others I've accumulated and I haven't read yet.
I am a fan of the public library! I get a book and I have a timeline of when it is due back and that helps me to read faster. Enjoy!
