Yes, again!

I realize I've been a little obsessed in my postings (and real life) about baby Cai being born, but here are few cute pics that I took this week.  Sorry Vanessa and Hart this is what happens when you have a baby, the parents become invisible, but in a good way b/c people are so fascinated by your gorgeous baby.  Well this may just be true for me because I've always LOVED babies and y'all just happened (with God of course) to make an exceptionally stunning child! I have a hard time taking my eyes off of him, but I love you guys and I am praying you get all the rest and sustaining from God you need.
His first day here in this world, happy birthday sweet Micaiah!
This is pretty much bliss!
I think I'm basically family, right? Congrats Grandma Nelle!
What is there to say?
This is day 3, look how good that Mama looks! Do you see how big Cai's feet are?
Beautiful Mommy!
I know it's the cutest baby nose ever!
How's your heart, is he breaking it with how cute he is?

He's Here!

I've been like excited and tearful all day in anticipation to go meet Cai after work today.  Micaiah is 7 1/2 pounds 23 3/4 inches long and doing great! Here is a pic of the new family!
SO AWESOME! Look at that sweet boy! you too Hart!

Birthday!

Well one of my best friends from highschool, Vanessa, is having her first child today.  We love you Traylor family. Congratulations to Hart for becoming a daddy!  Welcome to the world, Miciaih, we can't wait to meet you!

Obsessed with Organization!

So after we built the small shoe rack for the garage, I realized we had a bigger problem in our closet.  However, I am too embarrassed to show you what it looked before.  So here is the after, just picture shoes literally lining every wall and crazy obnoxious.
Also, this provide an extra top shelf for Andrew's hoodies.

Very Thank-Fall

Ok...I confess that's about as cheesy as a title comes, but it's how I feel.  I am so thankfull for this wonderful weather lately.  Yes it is still getting hot in the middle of the day; however, it has been cooling back off before dark for about 2-3 weeks here.  If you remember in SC, August and September are usually the most miserable time of year and we don't start catching a break until way late in September. I would say God is being gracious!

My good friend, Miriam, has been saying how she is looking forward to fall because of pumpkin spiced latte's from Starbucks and cranberrys and all things pumpkin that she can bake.  Well, I am thankful because there is this weird thing that happens to me, I get a bit spunky when I walk outside and it's way cooler than I imagine.  I remember going to take Gage out for breakfast two weeks ago and I put on pajama pants so the mosquito's didn't eat my legs alive and it was cool enough for pants! I was like omg it's dropped 15 degrees! I notice that I get a boost of energy every time I walk out the door and it's cooler than I expect.  I know I'm getting repetitive, but I just wanted you to get it.  You will notice your pets are probably like this too.  I know my dog, Buddy growing up was like this, and Gage is a puppy still so she's always like that. Also, I do love the fall leaves. I love that we are going on vacation this fall, and I'm with Miriam fall flavored foods rock! I love me some chai, pumpkin pie, and anything with cinnamon, nutmeg, or cardamin! Get excited fall is coming! What things do you love about fall!  Yes, I realize I sound like a teenager; however a teenager would not get excited about fall!

Quick Fix!

I like things neat, pretty much a clean freak.  Hello my name is Elizabeth and I've been addicted to cleaning for my whole life.  As a kid I told you I played house...well that honestly consisted of cleaning most of the time.  I loved it! So here was our problem!
Here's what my hubby whipped up in like 15 minutes and then I stained it, so it would last longer.
And here it is in action!
Woohoo for organization! And the piece of lumber was 8 bucks and we had the stain leftover from another project. Not too bad!
